Description
"The Calculation" is a song originally composed, performed, recorded, and released by Regina Spektor. The song was first released on the LP Far, released on 2009-06-23. "The Calculation" was previously unknown, as its first performance was just a few days before the release of Far at the Beacon Theatre on 2009-06-17. A subsequent live performance was performed, recorded, and released as part of the live LP Live in London, released in 2010.
"The Calculation" was performed extensively between 2009 and 2013 as a regular feature in Regina's setlists. It was not played again until 2017 for the "Very Special Solo Tour", during which it was played for the last time on 2917-08-19 in Ra`anana, Israel.
