"Riot Gear" was previously unknown, as its first performance was just a few days before the release of Far at the Beacon Theatre on 2009-06-17. Nearly two years after its original release, "Riot Gear" was featured on the EP Four from Far, released on 2011-04-16.
"Riot Gear" was only peformed live a total of eight times (mostly in 2009), with its last performance occuring on 2011-04-16.
